Who wouldn't want to be in Moab during the springtime, especially if you're a photographer? That and among other reasons, is why the Moab Photography Symposium has been so successful these past 7 years. The event coordinator is Bruce Hucko who is not only a photographer, but also a Moab resident, rounds up the best speakers and sponsors he can find.
Over 100 participants from across the U.S. and Canada joined in on this three day event to share information, new ideas, stories, and laughter.. During this time the participants were able to listen and speak to incredible photographers such as: Jack Dykinga (Pulitzer Prize winner and keynote speaker), Jeff Foott, Tom Till, James Kay, Huntington Witherill, and Bruce Hucko. To round out the event there were other feature speakers such as: Steve Traudt (photo educator), Nat Coalson (Adobe certified Lightroom and Photoshop instructor that demonstrated printing with Lasal Photo Luster and Colorado Fiber Satine), and Durango gallery owner Margy Dudley. It was a full weekend of learning, sharing, prizes, and fun for everyone.
