A Look Into the Soul of South Africa – Photographed by Peter Frank
It is the look in their eyes. A gaze that seems to see far into the distance, yet deep into one’s soul.
Peter Frank captured this mysterious expression in a series of powerful photographs: His large scale portraits depict Sangomas, the traditional healers of South Africa.
The Sangoma Exhibition Museum in St. Gallen/Switzerland opened on Saturday and was a great success with 450 visitors. The exhibit is open until October 19th at HVM in St. Gallen. Peter Frank used MOAB paper to emphasize the amazing colors of his prints. Visit Peter Frank's gallery to gain more insight on the mystique and dignity of a fascinating culture and extraordinary people.

The Power of Image with Jodi Jones
The prints in your portfolio have got to look top quality to really do your work justice. You’ve got to have the right printer, inks, color profiles, monitor calibration and of course – the right paper.
Photographer, Jodi Jones recently reprinted her portfolio. She made sure to do it right and settled on a Canon Pixma Pro-100 Printer and Moab Scored Inkjet paper in Matte. The proof is in the feedback she got – “Creatives actually want to feel my images when they are looking at them because the colors are so rich and the blacks are simply astonishing.”
Jodi explains her process here.

Bodhikai Imagery uses MOAB for Global Photography Project
Imagery beyond Borders: Life in Forty Eight, is a Global Photography Project created by Bodhikai Imagery. The goal is to bring together people from diverse international locations to bridge cultures, customs, and geography through means of photography.
Bodhikai Imagery will be sending two disposable cameras a month, for the duration of 2014, to different locations around the world, in order for the photographer to document their daily life as they know it. Upon receiving their cameras, the photographers must capture all images over the course of 48 hours.
There will be an exhibition featuring all involved, in Seattle, sometime in 2015. The exhibition will be using MOAB to represent their images. Be sure to check out their project as well as our paper used at the exhibit by Melanie Boling Barrow!
