We're Hitting the Road

We’re loading up our Moabmobile and taking to the highways.  Check out our event calendar as we add places & dates.  (If you don't see much in the calendar, just click to see more dates.)

If you’re in the neighborhood during one of our visits, come say hi.  We’d love to meet you and talk photography, printing and paper!  We’ll have our newest and greatest products with us for you to touch, feel, test and maybe even walk home with.  Plus you’ll get to have all your questions answered with one of our friendly Moab tech-perts.

Project Tandem: Portraits of American Environmental Perceptions

In the fall of 2008 two photographers set out on bicycles to ride 11,000 miles around the country to investigate and share what everyday Americans really thought about the environment. Through interviews and portraits the resulting show, Project Tandem: Portraits of American Environmental Perceptions, offers a wide sampling of the current American community and their varied opinions, stories and perceptions of our local and global environmental climate.

Lauren Henkin at Blue Sky Gallery in Portland, OR

Moab Master photographer Lauren Henkin has been invited by Portland's (Oregon) Blue Sky Gallery to discuss her work, and Displaced, her new artist book (printed on Entrada Rag). Displaced is based on her self-imposed Nova Scotian exile.

Stop by on Saturday, December 12th at 3 p.m. Lauren will be showing a copy of the book, signing prints and will talk about the making of the two portfolios that comprise the project.

Blue Sky is a non-profit space dedicated to educating the public about photography. Their special mission continues to be showing artists that no one has ever heard of, but will. As such, Blue Sky has been credited with having the best record of discovering new photographers of any artists' space in the country.
